<p><i>Ask and Task</i> provides meaningful multi-skills learning, interaction, and practice opportunities ESL/EFL classrooms. The book is based around photocopiable cards: two to four pages of Question Cards and one page of Task Cards for each of the 40 topics. <b>Nancy Ellen Zelman</b>, author of <i>Ask and Task: Questions and Activities for Communication Practice</i>, first taught English as a Foreign Language after joining the Peace Corps in Morocco. Upon returning to the US, she attended Columbia University and earned a Masters in TESOL. After teaching in New York, she moved to California to teach ESL full time at the University of California at Santa Barbara. She attended law school but returned to ESL teaching. She has presented at TESOL conferences and has written numerous journal articles and textbooks.
