See, for example, the Standardbred, P.O.A., Hackney Pony, Morgan and Arabian. Classes such as Roadster, Buckboard and Fine Harness are discussed. Several b/w photos of various past winners - including Sporting Tandem. Two-legged entrants include: Ladies, Juniors, Amateurs and Owners. Read more about : bike, dumb jockey, false martingale, Jesta Venture, trace aids, crupper, terrets and snaffle-bit. Cond : Paper wrapper is rosy orange with black lettering. The front cover colour photo is of the author driving a pair that may be owned by William A. Harris of Erin Ontario. Volume is tight, bright, square, and clean with minimal wear. P/O name verso front cover. No creases, no tears. Excellent reference. Quote (p. 88) : " For extra protection, special tail bags are marketed, in which the tail is placed and the bag tied shut at the top.
