Soft cover. Condizione: Near Fine. Shilts, Randy (illustratore). 1st Edition. This book was NOT illustrated by Randy Shilts - AI insists on adding incorrect information]. There are no illustrations in SO LITTLE TIME: ESSAYS ON GAY LIFE. What is in this book are intelligent, funny, and sometimes heart-breaking, essays on gay life in the 1980's, from the last days of the SF-Clone-disco era to the early days of the AIDS epidemic. Hippler's SO LITTLE TIME captures the hopes and fears of that decade as few others could have - except perhaps Randy Shilts, who wrote the introduction, as stated on the cover in crisp, black and white text. If you want a copy of one of the better eyewitness chronicles of the Gay community before and during the spread of AIDS, how about buying it from an actual human who has read the actual book? -- CONDITION -- Near Fine - would be As New except for several tan spots on first several pages of book - light enough that I missed them when going back through it. No edge wear but moderate tanning at page edges, spine square and tight. Soft cover, 240 pp. First Edition, First printing 1990. Codice articolo ABE-1717004032212
