xii, 404 pages. Hardcover: H 31.25cm x L 23.5cm. Dust jacket rubbed; two short tears at bottom edges of panels; heel of front flap fold worn. Dark green cloth with maroon and bold gilt stamping. Front and rear hinges completely cracked and now crudely but effectively repaired by application of adhesive along spine's inner back-strip. Pages are still bright and clean and interior leaves (i.e. the text block) are firmly bound. Sold as a reading copy only through per the hinge repair. Excellent reference volume for etchings, lithographs, and engravings of Maryland streetscapes, city views, Civil War battle scenes, bird's eye views, etc. owned by the Maryland Historical Society.
