L'autore:
Lily Splane began her writing career when she was 15, with a series of articles on donkey care and training for the international Journal of The American Donkey and Mule Society (also known as Mr. Longears, or The Brayer). Today, she owns a publishing company that not only publishes her own works, but the works of other exceptional authors. Her passions include quantum cosmology, particle physics, philosophy, biochemistry, nutrition, physiology, oil and digital painting, belly dance, world music, and music composition. Anaphase II Publishing released its first title in 1988, with Nutritional Self-Defense, written by founder Lily Splane. The publishing company survived two transfers of ownership throughout the years, but is now back in the capable hands of its founder. Anaphase II Publishing, now an imprint of Cyberlepsy Media, publishes exceptional, authoritative books in the sciences (with lay readers as the target audience) including nutrition, the philosophical implications of quantum cosmology, and human behavior. Other areas include how-to books on writing and book typesetting and design, as well as science fiction and speculative fiction. Cyberlepsy Media also publishes music and music instruction CDs, as well as music instruction DVDs. Future projects include the music and a forthcoming book on the doumbek (Mid-East drum) by new author/composer, San Diego’s beloved percussionist and sound engineer Richard Adrian Steiger. Lily Splane has been writing, editing, typesetting, and designing books for self-publishers, college professors, and small presses for more than thirty years. She has written several magazine articles, and is author of eight books. Lily holds a master’s degree in nutritional science, a Doctor of Divinity degree, and is currently studying cognitive psychology. She lives in San Diego, California.
