In both its .303, and .30 cal forms, it was born of necessity during war, manufactured in millions in the short space of but a few years, ans only destined for a relatively short service life. **The book has tanning, the name of the previous owner written and stamped on the frontispiece along with shelf rubbing at the extremities.
