Andrew Marsh is a 49 year old complimentary therapist, Shamanic Practitioner, writer of thrillers, crime thrillers, fantasy faery stories and blogger. His complimentary therapy work includes Reiki, NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis. Andrew spent 23 years as consultant engineering geologist in the construction industry. Very much a “hands on” and get stuck in man, he split his time between office based work and fieldwork, much of that on major highway and dam construction projects, both in the UK and overseas. Andrew self-published his first novel, The Long And Winding Road with the winnings from a TV game show in 2004. He still enjoys appearing on TV quiz shows. He has a number of blogs where he writes about his writing and provides useful writing tips as well as other blogs, purpleandblues.wordpress.com where many of his observations on life and other musings are recorded. He attends the Writers Summer School in Swanwick Derbyshire held at the beginning of August each year and served on the Committee in 2007-8.
