'Melody Bear and the Musical Instruments' is Book Two in the Melody Movement early learning preschool dance series. The full colour picture book tells the story of Melody Bear trying to play musical instruments and finding the inspiration to dance to the different sounds of the violin, penny whistle, saxophone and maracas. The accompany CD has the story read aloud with amusing inserts of Melody Bear's attempts to play the instruments, followed by Eugene Kulikov's imaginative compositions for children to dance to as mermaids, birds, robots and carnival dancers. Easy to follow notes are included for parents and teachers suggesting dance movements appropriate to the story.
