After receiving her MA in Education in 1981 from Maurice Thorez University where she specialised in advanced learning technologies, Galina went on to become an educational reviewer, journalist, interpreter and teacher. She continued writing practical learning guides, as well as teaching CPD courses for teachers and lecturing. After moving to the UK in 1989, Galina worked for the BBC World Service and later spent some time in the City s legal and banking sector. In mid-90s Galina realised she wanted to go back to education. As health promotion has always been her great interest and passion, Galina took a sabbatical to do an intensive diploma course in Sports Therapy and Health and Fitness Studies, followed later by Nutrition, Iridology, Colon Hydrotherapy, Live blood Microscopy and Facial Diagnosis. Galina now divides her time between teaching colon hydrotherapy and other holistic modalities internationally and at her school, the Chi Centre in Maidenhead, Berkshire (www.colonicschool.net), supporting her current and former students, writing a new book and treating and mentoring clients in Wellbeing Now.
