Why do I feel this book is so important? At its core it contains valuable information for each one of us, including the dog, and even increases our understanding of other species. Rosie guides the reader towards knowledge that will help unlock the door to better observation and understanding of the REAL canine world, rather than one which tends to come from interpretation as opposed to observation. Rosie has studied widely, reading literature, attending courses and learning from humans, and more importantly, learning from the animals themselves. By putting theories into practice and testing her beliefs, she has gained a deep appreciation of which are of value and which can be discarded.
