303 pages. He was a longtime pupil of Jeanne de Salzmann and a member of her senior Paris group. The book illuminates Work concepts hitherto unexplained to English speakers. He describes The Fourth Way as the Way of the Cunning Man and its method of application, Gaida Yoga or simply the Work. It includes a short biography of Gurdjieff followed by an introduction of his ideas and to the way the Work is transmitted. It includes a few essential exercises termed suitable for everyone and meant to efficiently prepare candidates for an indepth study and practice of the Fourth Way, or even any other "genuine method of Self -Development and expansion of Consciousness." The text includes some less well known, but important, aspects of the Sly Man's Way in several appendices and illustrated by synoptic tables. The book concludes with the text of a puppet play written and performed as a task given by the late C. Stanley Nott to the groups in Australia, which he organized and directed until shortly before his death. Tereshchenko claims that some leaders in the Gurdjieff establishment allegedly disapproved of some of his writings, because of some of it containing work techniques and therefore considered "dangerous and revealing too many of the exercises." He died in Australia in 2002. Paperback in very good condition. Codice articolo 34513
