This text is an introduction to linear algebra at the undergraduate level. It covers the main topics on vector spaces, determinants, similarity, canonical forms, inner spaces, operators, and some applications. It contains over 200 exercises at different levels of difficulty. It combines the theoretical aspects of the subject with the computational methods.
The author is professor of mathematics at the University of Idaho. He is author of many research papers in algebra and has published several books.
