Katie Wilton was born the fourth child of a family of five in Buffalo, NY. She went on to receive a BA in Elementary Education from Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. After a few years of teaching and developing a strong affinity for cooking by participating in local college cooking courses, Katie moved to pursue a formal culinary education in Boston, MA. Katie Wilton received her Professional Chef’s Diploma from The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts in 1999. Katie is a member of: The American Institute of Wine & Food; The Culinary Guild of New England; and the International Association of Culinary Professionals, where she received her CCP (Certified Culinary Professional). Ms. Wilton continues to teach throughout New England; she has been featured by many local and national media including: Living it Up! With Ali & Jack, Chronicle, The Phantom Gourmet, The Boston Globe, and Parents and Kids Magazine.
