In 1956, 42yr old Johnny Taylor gets ran out of Layfayette, Louisiana. He runs to Detroit. He's only a two day resisdent of Detroit when he meets a young girl named Lonna. Lonna is only 12yrs old with a 9mth old rape child. She was raped at the tender age of eleven and hid the pregnancy from her family. She gave birth to her son at twelve. Lonna's family disowned her seeing that her child was a product of rape. Johnny took Lonna in and with-in a sixteen year period, he had his own six children with her. The year is now 1972 which is 16yrs later, Lonna is now 28yrs old and feels trapped, along with her seven loving children. This same year, Johnny decides to take his family on a Family-Trip back to Louisianna to visit his mother. After the family's second day in Louisianna, it's discovered that Johnny has another wife there he'd tried to strangle to death back in 1956(sixteen years earlier). Her two brothers' tried to kill Johnny after that, in-whch was his reason for running to Detroit. Ironically, the two battered wives meet and together, they plot Johnny's murder.
