A Guyanese girl's first experience of the Spring Season in Brooklyn, New York. This biographic short story is a tour through the experience of a girl, who while remaining in the care of her grandmother in Guyana, missed her dear mother who had recently migrated to the United States. The girl and mother were soon reunited in New York, during one winter. Having lived only in the equatorial zone, the girl was wonder struck at the appearance of forsythia flowers at the open of New York's Spring Season.
