Richard O’Connor is a former college player and has been active in college level baseball for the past two decades as an advisor and founder/director of the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts, a collegiate summer wooden bat baseball team in Maryland. Richard is also a co-founder of the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League. A former college player, Richard received an undergraduate degree from Boston University (A.B.) and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan (Masters of Regional Planning) and Cooley Law (J.D.) Richard has been a trial attorney for the past 30 year. A native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, he resides in Takoma Park, Maryland, with his wife. He has two sons, Patrick and Kevin, and a new grandson, Kellan. David B. Stinson, a long-time youth baseball coach, is the Director of Player Personnel and former General Manager of the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts. He is a former litigator for the U.S. Department of Justice and a recovering lawyer. David received an undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland (B.S.) and a graduate degree from American University (J.D.). He is the creator and owner of deadballbaseball.com, a website dedicated to the lost ballparks of professional baseball. David resides with his wife in Silver Spring, Maryland.
