“Deported… almost” is a book that describes in simple and clear language the deportation process who is subjected one “undocumented” living in the United States of America. The author, in this story, has sought to convey feelings and emotions that he seize since the moment of his “unfortunate” apprehension, until the day and time that he must face the Judge who determine what the future holds in relation to his retention or removal of this country. The way to present this narrative allows the reader to delve into the daily life of a Detention Center for “illegals”: What kind of deal are these people? Which food they consume? Can they maintain contact abroad? How do they dress? Where do they sleep? How to conduct their hearing in front of the Judge Officer? These and other issues are clarified in this text. In the words of writer, we find what he wants to pretend as main purpose, when he describes his own process: “To recount, I have the intention to serve as a support and healing to many other people and their families who are going through or have gone through a similar situation I describe. Hopefully, help them find the best option for their lives.” Is a tender, human, inspirational story, containing an extraordinary message of faith and hope. A story that will touch anyone.
