Susan is a Natural Energy 6 and co-founder, with her husband, Martin Fisher, Natural Energy 5, of 9 Energies Inc., a non-profit dedicated to researching, teaching and identifying Natural Energies. Together they have the goal of offering this experience and understanding to as many people as possible. Born in the United States, for the first ten years of her life Susan lived up and down the Eastern Seaboard. In 1971, her family moved to Brussels, Belgium, initiating a time of intensive travel. Susan learned French and German, and was exposed to myriad cultural perspectives and experiences that opened up her worldview. In 1982, she graduated from Brown University with a degree in Mathematical Economics and Computer Science. A member of the inaugural class of the Lauder Institute for International Business, at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Susan completed her education earning an MBA/MA in Finance and International Business. This launched a career in consulting, high-tech and finance which brought her to Northern California in the late 1980’s. When Susan became a mother her priorities shifted. She began to question the career path she had taken. Not to regret it exactly, but rather to wonder what purpose it served in the grand scheme of life. As Susan entered mid-life, everything, from work to family, became more of a struggle. Her priorities were shifting and exacting questions kept her up at night. She began seeking her bigger purpose–– bigger than career, bigger than motherhood, bigger than simply existing. Finally, in 2002, she discovered the truth of her way of being and the source of her own inner power, and everything began to click into place. The unusual experiences she had encountered in her youthful travels, the reason why no one in her family seemed to share her life experiences, commitments, desires or abilities, all began to make sense. Understanding the 9 Energies, Susan came home to her deepest nature. Today, Susan, in collaboration with her husband, Martin, is committed to researching, speaking and learning everything about the Natural Energies. - how they can help us to be happier, understand one another, work together more effectively, and know, share and give our gifts in a way that is receivable by others.
