Parker Rimes is a journalist who has spent his life trying to live somewhere else. He's found that Australia, the UK, and the US suit him the best. When not writing, he starts four or five books a week. (Reading, that is.) Some of them he completes. In the course of his career, he has interviewed over a thousand people who claimed paranormal experiences had transformed their lives. Many of these stories seemed truthful. His favorite pastime is discovering new verbs, and wishing he'd thought of them first. He likes animals but prefers that most of them stay in their own home. His favorite wines are those sold close to wherever he lives. Diligent research for his novels led him to enroll in a school for mediums, where he failed nearly every psychic test. But he can now predict where to find a good parking space significantly better than the average person. There has to be some cosmic meaning here, but it escapes him.
