River Houses Rising represents the first installment in a two-part introduction to organic house church. Maurice Smith weaves together history, theology and extensive personal experience in the organic house church movement to explore: Why traditional church attendance has fallen by half in the past generation while participation in organic house churches is growing around the world; The critical role of organic house church in the coming end-time revival and harvest; Why present day institutional churches are inadequate vessels for preserving the fruit of the coming harvest; God’s “math problem” and how organic house churches can solve it; Why organic house churches represent the only vehicle for fulfilling the Great Commission in our lifetime; Understanding the differences between rabbits, elephants and mules; The need for organic house churches to network together for greater effectiveness; How the organic church in your house can become a key part of what God is doing in our day; The difference between a religion-shaped spirituality and a Jesus-shaped spirituality; The relationship between organic house church and the Kingdom of God; What it means to be an “end-times” Church; And much more!
