Based in Virginia, Joe has worked in various trades, including restaurants specializing in diverse cuisines, but most of his education has been in the cookhouse of hard knocks, where the rubber meets the road, the ever-looming home kitchen, where recipes not streamlined can become voracious beasts seeking whom to devour. He enjoys badminton and long walks on the beach.
