About the
Réginald Marie Garrigou-Lagrange, (1877-1964), a French Dominican priest, was one of the greatest Catholic theologians and Neo-Scholastics of the 20th century. He taught at the Dominican Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Angelicum in Rome from 1909 to 1960. Many of his students would become eminent Catholic theologians, including Pope Saint John Paul II. Fr Garrigou-Lagrange also served as theological advisor to four Popes, including Pope Saint John XXIII.
