"Wind Blows" is a humorous conservative "Children's Book" that tackles Wind Energy and Fake News in a manner that is so simple, even a child can understand it on some level. (Adults will read it on a different level.) "Wind Blows" details Gary's adventures as he explores Wind Energy and compares it to Oil and Gas.  You might be surprised by what he learns. Ms. Denson simplifies some rather complicated ideas about energy and created a fun story, written in poetry with rhyme and cadence. The Gary the Go-Cart series was written to balance the conversation surrounding energy and the environment. It is 32 pages of full-color illustrations plus a section at the back of the book, "For the adults in the room" that gives information and quotes showing the problems with wind energy. It is illustrated by the late, great award-winning Sidnei Marques, who passed away shortly after completing the illustrations for this book. This book gives a different perspective from the one that is normally shared. This perspective is shared by large numbers of experts who are not having their voices heard. It shows how the energy controversy is all about politics and money and nothing to do with the environment.

The book can be read on one level to a child, who sees Gary as a Go-Cart who likes to do the right thing,  and on a much deeper level by a teenager or an adult. It will likely make you laugh out loud. 

The Gary the Go-Cart books give a different perspective on energy and the environment from the one that is normally heard. Wind Energy is actually horrible for the environment, and climate change is really all about power and money and has nothing to do with the environment. This perspective is shared by large numbers of experts who are not having their voices heard. It is written as a fun story, with poetry, rhyme, and cadence. 

Gary the Go-Cart tackles Wind Energy, Climate Change, and Fake News in a manner that is simple enough that even a child can enjoy it. The intention is to educate the adult reading it.

There is a page at the end of each story entitled, "For the Adults in the Room." These pages give information and quotes showing the problems with wind energy and carbon capture.

Get it for your high schooler to read! They need to hear this before they get to college and are totally indoctrinated!

It is 68 pages of full-color illustrations. It is illustrated by the late, award-winning Sidnei Marques.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Civil Engineering, BB began her career as an engineer for Amoco. A true passion for the environment led her to begin working for an environmental science company, which is what she was doing when she starting writing her first books. In 2016 BB began writing children's books about the energy industry because she believed that there was much misinformation about how the oil and gas industry is bad for the environment and hoped to educate kids and parents alike with fun stories that are factually accurate. All the political craziness of 2020 then compelled her to also begin writing political satire. Conservatives were being persecuted and they needed a little humor. BB is married to Al H Denson and they have four daughters. She had no idea that life would take her in this direction, but she is enjoying the ride and hopes you are too.

Mr. Marques had been a graphic designer since 1980. He began his career in Newark, N.J. His work includes airbrushing in canvas and on walls. Mr. Marques designed for multiple newspapers and magazines in Brazil. He was the winner of numerous cartoon competitions in Russia, Germany, London and Brazil. Mr. Marques passed away in January, 2017.
