Sinossi

Brad Stephens is quite a catch. When he’s not working on rotations to complete his internship to become a medical doctor, he is pursuing the lovely nurses from the dorm across the street. But behind his dashing doctor exterior, lies the cold heart of a confirmed womanizer. His dream is to “date” as many women as possible, become a doctor that doesn’t work on weekends, and live the good life that a doctor’s salary can provide. Brad and his best friend, Spaz is determined to have fun with as many women as possible without having to say the magic words , “I love you” while managing to barely avoid flunking out of med school. Things are going well until he meets Catherine, a tall, leggy blonde on track to snare a husband whose first name is “Doctor.” There is just one problem, Brad has never fallen for a woman and Candy has a secret that she hides even from her best friend, Ginger. After his first meeting with Candy, Brad’s life takes a giant detour. Change is in the air as he navigates the dicey waters of a relationship that will ultimately alter the course of both of their lives.

Informazioni sull?autore

I became interested in writing in the '70s while I was still a medical resident. I took my first creative writing course as a resident. The timing wasn't good. Focused on becoming a doctor, I put my writing on hold. Some thirty-plus years later, I have returned to my love of writing with this first book. Recently I have taken other creative writing courses, and now consider myself a "part-time writer." In the '70s, I had what I like to call a "lack of copy"—I hadn't lived enough to draw from the stories, relationships, and experiences that help writers create books that inspire, evoke, and entertain. Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, the characters that we create are in some part, large or small, a shadow of what we have experienced in our own lives. Have I missed my destiny as a writer? I don't think so. I was hooked on medicine from the time I was ten years old. In the ninth grade, I realized, through a great teacher and mentor, that I had a gift for medicine. It didn't hurt that I had several physicians in my family, including my father. Although I still practice medicine, I have at last structured my life so that I can do two things that I love: practice medicine and write books. STAY CONNECTED TO DR.
