Illustrations and descriptions of selected paintings completed 2008-2020. Roy Osborne is an artist, educator and writer on colour. Since 1970 he has contributed to over 150 exhibitions and lectured at over 200 art institutions worldwide. In 2003 he was awarded the first Turner Medal of the Colour Group (Great Britain), and in 2019 he received the first Colour in Art, Design and Environment Medal of the International Colour Association (AIC).

ROY OSBORNE is an exhibiting artist, educator, and author. His work explores relationships between colour and colour and colour and form. After publishing 'Lights and Pigments: Colour Principles for Artists' (1980), he became one of Britain's most prominent colour theorists, lecturing and teaching at over 200 art institutions worldwide. His other publications include 'Renaissance Colour Symbolism: Primary Sources' (2019), 'Books on Colour 1495-2025: History and Bibliography' (2025) and 'The Color Coursebook for Art Teachers and Students' (2020).
