And so 'snatches' was born. It practises the discipline of taking a difficult situation and finding strength and light within it. My hope is that my putting thoughts on paper/screen will point the way to live with trouble but also see a way out of it. I have found the whole process beneficial to me, and hopefully to anyone who reads it. NatureI only have to look out a window here to see something, a gift, from Nature to talk about. EncouragementEvery week I am surprisingly given a positive thought to share. I am sure those thoughts are heaven-sent because many times I have no idea what I am going to write about, right up to the day before! PandemicWhen lockdown took us all by surprise in 2020, it became necessary to find courage and resilience to cope. So, I kept writing and lit a candle to show commitment to everyone most hit by the pandemic.FaithThrough everything, every struggle, every challenge, faith in a God who is always there and carries us through it all is the lynchpin of my writing. At the beginning I was tentative but as time went on I learnt that my faith was the main thing that carried me through it all and realised that it was foolish to pretend otherwise.
