Sinossi
A hot-shot Sydney barrister, Jac de Lessigny, takes on a lucrative contract to advise the N.S.W. Police as they re-assess a notorious missing-persons-cum-murder case. As he delves into the evidence, Jac is surprised to find himself also the target of repeated murder attempts.Writing in the first person, Jac tells the story himself, revealing at times his innermost feelings for a beautiful young female constable, who has been assigned to work with him. The volatile course of their relationship forms the backdrop to the story, which is essentially a cold-case mystery set on the Central Coast of N.S.W. Jac helps to solve the puzzle, and he gets the girl - kind of. This tale falls into the category of a whodunit, but with a romantic twist.
