This twenty-lesson group or self-study series on Basic Bible Doctrines is part of an overall collection of 61 lessons that cover many of the fundamental Christian teachings and beliefs in a topical or thematic sense. It assumes no prior knowledge of the Bible or any specific religious background. These study guides are suitable for small groups, Sunday-school classes, or personal enrichment. There is a need for these fundamental biblical and historical teachings in the church today. They complement the study of the Bible text by providing an overall view of the subject. New believers need to understand and learn many of these basic teachings before they can properly understand exegetical/expository studies. Many seasoned believers in the body may also lack teaching in these areas and would benefit from them.
