It includes Nelson's report of the Battle of St Vincent, and documents concerning Lord Hood's control of the besieged royalist port of Toulon in 1793, together with parts of Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner, and an account of the funeral of Admiral Lord Howe.
