Qitu Hu is a professor at the school of physics and astronomy in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He is the vice chairman of the Physics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education of China, and a member of the Physics Teaching Committee of the Chinese Physical Society. Professor Hu has devoted himself to the teaching of university physics courses, and has engaged in the research of computer simulation and physics education technology. He has published several textbooks and computer simulation teaching softwares, and has won national teaching achievement awards and national outstanding teaching material awards multiple times.
