Asaph Young Chun, PhD, is Director-General of the Statistics Research Institute,  the state-run think tank of official statistics, data innovation, and data-based policymaking research in Statistics Korea. He served as Research Chief for Decennial Directorate at the U.S. Census Bureau. He is the author of numerous journal articles devoted to survey methodology and transdiciplinary policy applications and received his PhD in Sociology from the University of Maryland.

Michael D. Larsen, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Statistics and Director of the Graduate Certificate Program in Survey Design and Data Analysis at The George Washington University. He received his PhD in Statistics from Harvard University.
