He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in the areas of electronics, software programming, and computer networks. Dr. Xiao has designed and taught several modules focused on Java programming. He is also a director and cofounder of Biox Systems Ltd, a university spin-out company that designs and manufactures the AquaFlux and Epsilon Permittivity Imaging systems.
