With a distinguished career in civil engineering, he works at a prominent private engineering firm where he has managed a diverse array of civil engineering projects. His portfolio includes award-winning engineering services for public and private sectors, encompassing commercial, residential, recreational, educational, utility, and transportation projects. Dr. Pennetti, who has earned civil and systems engineering degrees, utilizes a holistic management approach for civil engineering projects. A systems engineering framework underpins his strategy, focusing on seamlessly integrating diverse project components to achieve project objectives effectively. In addition to his professional achievements, he is a lecturer at the University of Virginia's School of Engineering and Applied Science in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA, where he teaches civil engineering and project management courses.
C. Kat Grimsley, PhD, is a commercial real estate expert with over 20 years of industry and academic experience. Prior to earning her doctorate in land economics at the University of Cambridge, Dr. Grimsley built private sector expertise leading multidisciplinary project teams for both domestic and international commercial real estate portfolios. As a professor, she supports the commercial real estate industry through specialized research, consulting, and expert testimony. Dr. Grimsley is an advisory peer to the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, and vice-chair of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe's Real Estate Markets Advisory Group. She has published a range of books and articles on commercial real estate and development topics, for which she has won both industry and academic awards.
Brian M. Grindall is a lawyer with extensive experience in real estate development with a Juris Doctor degree from New England Law and a Master's degree of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. He has represented clients in all facets of commercial real estate, including joint ventures, acquisition and sales contracts for improved and unimproved properties, construction and development activities, and borrower and lender representation. His practice has included a wide range of assets ranging from home building, retail, residential, condominium, data center, office, industrial, mixed-use, and hotel properties and venues. He teaches commercial real estate law and risk assessment at Georgetown University and George Mason University.
