Riassunto

The Incomplete Angler: After Master Izaak Walton is a book written by Francis Cowley Burnand and published in 1887. The book is a humorous parody of Izaak Walton's classic fishing book, The Compleat Angler. Burnand's version follows the same format as Walton's, with a dialogue between two characters discussing fishing and the joys of nature. However, Burnand's characters are farcical and absurd, and the book is filled with puns, jokes, and satirical commentary on Victorian society. The book is a light-hearted and entertaining read, perfect for those who enjoy fishing or satire. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
