Many saw them go, and knew Jesus; and they followed along the shore of the lake. Q. When the Lord went forth from the ship to the land, what did he see 1 A. A great multitude of people on the shore. Q. How did the Saviour feel for them? A. He was moved with compassion towards _ them, for they were as sheep having no shepherd. Q. What did he do for them? A He spoke to them, and taught them of the kingdom of God, and healed any that had need. Q. Did the people love to listen to his words? A. For a long time they stayed and listened, till the day began to wear away. Q. Who came to Jesus then '/ A. Some of the disciples, and asked him to send the people away, that they might get something to eat. Q. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes upon the great company, what did he say to Philip'( A.
