You will be interested to hear the notes of acceptance or of regret that your friend receives. Do you know how to write both an acceptance and a regret? The following may help you. IV. R. s. v. p. is the abbreviation for the French expression "Respondez s'il vous plait"; it means "Eeply, if you please". Sometimes the abbreviated expression is written with capitals; as, R. S. V. P.
