Sm. 4to, 25 pp. Th1s little book was got together and presented by Mr. Lamb to the members of the British Association as a kindly souvenir of a flying visit to Dundee. The Howflf is the oldest burial ground in Dundee, and naturally contains very much of interest, both as regards the persons interred, and the monumental stones and epitaphs recorded on them. An appropriate selection of these has been made, and well-executed plates of some of the more curious and picturesque accompany the "Guide." Taking advantage of Mr. Lamb's courteous offer, we are enabled to give, as our Illustration this month, a view of what Mr. Lamb thinks "must have been one of the finest monuments in the Howflf."
