The sixth edition of Scriptures of the World’s Religions brings together many of the world’s most influential sacred texts. With comprehensive introductions in each chapter, the selected writings emphasize each religion’s founders, central doctrines, and historical development. The translated texts, many of which were translated specifically for this collection, are stylistically clear and up-to-date. The Connect course for this offering includes SmartBook, an adaptive reading and study experience which guides students to master, recall, and apply key concepts while providing automatically-graded assessments.
