Excerpt from The Proceedings and Transactions of the Nova Scotian Institute of Science, 1923, Vol. 15
Bed-rock (triassic) sandstone outcrops in this brook, but throughout the valley the stream has never deepened its bed to any great extent. The drift lies, scattered everywhere and a number of boulders are well ice - scratched.

Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book presents an in-depth study of the Micmac skull using craniometric methods and observations. The author provides measurements and indices of a Micmac skull housed in the Provincial Museum of Nova Scotia to offer a detailed analysis of its physical characteristics. The examination of this skull is situated within broader anthropological contexts, making comparisons to other populations, including Scottish, Australian and Melanesian skulls. In doing so, the book contributes to the understanding of the physical anthropology of the Micmac Indians and their place within the broader group of Algonquian peoples. The author's detailed measurements of the Micmac skull provide valuable data for future research and help shed light on the physical characteristics and relationships of this indigenous population.
