This is the last production of my boyhood. Since my initiation into the pleasing paradise of the Muses, Poetry, with'me, has been an intoxicat ing pleasure, a mad delight, to the detriment of my pursuing the sterner studies of life, so that I might be enabled to more successfully battle with the cold, the heartless, the striving world.
