Humoristischer Äußerungen in der Kunst sich in erster Linie mit der Grundfrage nach dem Ver hältnis dieser Kunst zum Absurden auseinander zu setzen hat, daß in unserem Falle also die Frage nach dem Ver hältnis Rembrandts zum Absurden zum Ausgangspunkt der Untersuchung gemacht werden muß.
