Excerpt from A Practical Guide to the Greek Testament: Designed for Those Who Have No Knowledge of the Greek Language, but Who Desire to Read the New Testament in the Original
This little work is designed for those who have no know ledge whatever of the Greek language, but who desire to study the original Scriptures of the New Testament. It is thought that if such persons could, at a comparatively trifling expenditure of time and labour, attain sufficient knowledge of Greek to read the New Testament in the original, they would gladly avail themselves of the means of obtaining a more intimate acquaintance with the letter of Scripture, than can be procured through the medium of the most accurate translations.
