In a theoretically perfect current transformer the currents would have a ratio equal to the inverse ratio of turns, and the secondary current would be exactly in phase With the primary current. This ideal condition is shown in figure 1, where n_is the ratio of turns, and l_ and 2' are the primary and secondary currents respectively.
