Excerpt from Principles of Architectural Perspective
The first chapter of the book is devoted to definitions and to the theory of perspective in general.
In the second chapter are given ten elementary problems covering all of the descriptive geometry that is needed to completely solve a problem in perspective. All of these elementary problems will be found to depend directly upon the problem of finding the intersection of a right line with a plane. The student is advised to make himself thoroughly familiar with the contents of this chapter before attempt ing the solution of the practical problem which is given in Chapter III.
