Excerpt from The Outlook, Vol. 63: Published Weekly, September 2, 1899
A correspondent in another column makes as strong a case as, in our judg ment, can be made for the doctrine that Christian Scientists should be allowed by the State to practice their healing art on the hypothesis that disease is only a mortal thought and can be cured by thinking. This book provides a comprehensive overview of the social, political, and economic landscape of the Philippines during the latter half of the 19th century.
