Sinossi

The epic story of Capt. Theremin, Lt. McGonagal and their girl-friends continues. We read short stories of individual courage and the collective genius of clever civilizations. The most clever civilizations contain, or kill, elite-oligarch leaders, collectively known as "The Assholes." Pushy, arrogant, elite-oligarch assholes are common in most human civilizations. The survival of a civilization and the Free Will of most citizens relies entirely on the clever removal of a congenial defect common to many elites: The Asshole Effect -- a psychological illness passed from one generation to the next. On the THC-Dominant Planet Kush, the citizens adopted the brilliant strategy of appearing too stupid to bother with. In other words, The Assholes consider the residents of Planet Kush far too brain-dead to be worthwhile slaves. The Assholes moved on, to the conquer other planets. And this suited the residents of Planet Kush very well. The Planet Kush strategy is now known among intergalactic historians as: the Being Ignored Completely by Assholes, Planetary Defense Procedure.
