Marie King Hardman is a dedicated hands-on holistic health professional assisting individuals through their healing process. She believes physical pain is experienced if unbalanced energy or emotional pain has not yet found an outlet for release. Her approach to healing, bodywork and teaching provides that outlet. Marie is a Registered Nurse and graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and her Masters in Adult Education. She taught Holistic Health at this university. Marie studied massage therapy at the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California. She is an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association in Maine, and has been Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since 1994. Marie received her Reiki level I and II training at the Center of Awareness in Alameda, California in 1994. After practicing Reiki for four years, Marie became a Reiki Master Teacher. Since then, she has regularly taught all levels of Reiki classes. Marie specializes in clients with a history of physical or emotional trauma and abuse.
