Pantone revolutionized the graphic arts industry with the launch, in 1963, of the PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM(R), which enabled designers and printers to articulate and reproduce accurate color anywhere in the world. Illustrator and designer Tad Carpenter has worked with Target, Atlantic Records, Hallmark Cards, and Kidrobot, and has published several children's books. He teaches at the University of Kansas and lives in Kansas City, Missouri.
