Richard D. Seifried began his literary career at age twelve. He has successfully published five books. NATIVE ENCOUNTERS and THE ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY OF THE FLATHEAD INDIAN RESERVATION TO 1890 are non-fiction, historical accounts concerning events in the history of the United States. In 2002 he published the first volume of the WOLFMAN TRILOGY, entitled, MEDICINE GRIZZLY. In 2003, THE WARRIOR ANGELS, the second volume of the trilogy was published as well as a children's novel, A VOICE FROM THE FOREST. ABADDON'S WAY is the final volume of the Wolfman Trilogy. He has also been published in many popular magazines and newspapers and has written a 4000 page Memoirs, which has been deposited in the special collections library of Write State University, Dayton, Ohio.During much of his life he has studied, taught and lived amid the wilderness areas of the far west. Thirteen seasons were spent in western national parks, where he worked as a ranger. He is a university-trained naturalist, anthropologist and writer as well as an accomplished lecturer. The author is also a member of Western Writers of America and the Ozark Writers Conference. He currently resides in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
