The Bible states unequivocally that there is "one body and one Spirit -just as you were called to one hope when you were called - one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all" (Eph. 4:4,5). What the world sees, however, is a church with a thousand faces and ten-thousand voices: The teachings and practices of those who call themselves Christians today are anything but "one." Gary Villamor has been preparing and teaching Bible lessons for more than thirty years, and has been a defender of the faith since becoming a Christian in 1968. He has also preached from several pulpits on a part-time basis, and has done public speaking for several organizations. His wife, Shirley, works for the Fresno Unified School District. They have been married for more than 40 years, and are the parents of three grown children.While Mr. Villamor has read more than 500 books about the Bible, has attended more than 2500 Bible studies, and has listened to more than 5000 sermons, it is his conviction that even if he had the gift of prophecy and could fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, he would have absolutely nothing if he didn't have love (1 Cor. 13:2). Unlike many of the teachers of our day whose credentials are their degrees, he has qualified himself to write this book through his relationship with the Lord.
